Thank you Aaron!! I talked to John this afternoon, he told me! I was planning a better thank you but you beat me to it.. I am only sending one and as an armature I am a little nervous!! If you get featured I want an autograph copy. That way I can say I knew him when!! Ha! Thank you for helping me get this opportunity!

My hope is that THO is well represented in that article/feature/photo spread!  And trust me, I've said my thank you's to a couple very talented callmakers that gave the magazine my name when they were contacted about who to go to for a whistle.  The editor asked if I knew others that made whistles so I gave him your names.  A few months ago the same magazine did a spread of several custom duck call makers' work (Stump, Stelzner, etc), showed pics of their calls and info about each callmaker as I recall.  Very good exposure for custom callmakers since the mass-production guys get most of the attention.

Robert, there is no reason to be nervous at all. You are going to represent us well even though you are an "armature".  Kitch

I think he meant "shaker and mover"  Robert.  After all the armature is the moving part of the motor.  :whistling:

Not sure if ya learned from Aaron how to make them but he is no doubt the best whistle maker out there period. If in fact Robert you did learn a pointer or 2 from him you will do fine and shouldn't worry 1 bit!

Nope, I didn't teach Robert.  His work is all his!!!  I haven't even had the pleasure of trying one of his calls ( :whistling:) but I have no doubt they're spot-on.  Thanks for the kind words though Mac.  And I tell you what, JCZ's whistle is in my collection and it is a darn fine sounding call.  He and i make them very differently from what I can tell but whatever he's doing works.  If I didn't make them myself, I'd be hunting his whistle.

Thanks Aaron!
I am just teasing.. I think mine sounds good... I do have one of Aarons whistles but I make mine a little different and are deeper in tone if you were to hear each one side by side.. I followed an old tutorial that was on CCO when I started making whistles a few years back..
