Mac sounds like you have your decision made to learn knife making. I wouldn't pass up the chance either. You'll probly end up on a knife making forum and not here BUT we expect pictures of your progress HERE also.   :2up:

Barry the day I stop posting on this forum is the day ill sell my lathe to Aaron...which by the way won't happen cause I don't wanna pry his shoe outta my arse!!! :hysterical: I have intirely to much down time at work to use the excuse of I don't have time to check THO!  Now if I can just figure out how to get my lathe in there and use my down time turning calls I'd be set!

Mac, I know you have had about all the advice you can stand, but just remember, you are not giving up anything but you are gaining. You will never forget what you have learned about call making & can always come back to it, After you learn all of this man's secrets about knife making, sounds like the best of both world's. Thanks crawdad I haven't had anytime yet in his shop lately due to work and injuring my arm @ work but plan to take everyone's positive advise and learn what I can as soon as I can!
