This is my second Reelfoot to complete. Its Clark Walnut with a Cocobola insert. Oil finish. Thanks for looking. Waylon.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm pretty happy with the sound, but not totally satisfied. It sounds kinda plain when you get on it. Don't have the rasp I want. If that makes sense.

I know what you are talking about as I have the same problem. It is not that I cannot make a reelfoot call it is getting the sound where it needs to be. Hopefully will get one to sound good soon and post. As they say it ain't no simple thing to do.

Nice looking call also.

Work with the tip of the reed ,only, to increase/decrease the rasp. Curve the tip up a little more to increase the rasp.
