21mm bit for aluminum gutsert

Has anyone had trouble with their gutserts not fitting tight in acrylic barrels? With wood I'm fine drilling 7/8 , but with acrylic for some reason they don't fit as tight. Any thoughts appreciated.

you shouldn't have to use a gutsert in an acrylic call.

I was trying to use a wood insert with an acrylic barrel, I get these "bright" ideas from time to time.

I've never had a problem with webfoot gutserts , only the aluminum ones from shell creek. They seem smaller.

This post made me go check and I found some in the last batch that were a little small. I scrapped them all and have rebuilt the aluminum insert to a better than ever. Sounds Like maybe you got some of them contact me for a correction.

Bill what's the desired size versus the small ones? I may have a few myself that are off. Some worked fine and some were a little sloppy.

I would say if you think they are off and your hole is .875 send them back and I will gladly fix it.
