Wow, it has been a looooong time since I've posted or have even logged onto the forum. I think it's time to get back in the swing. I cleaned out my shop for four days straight, got a new window unit, oiled the lathe, sprayed for bugs, and vacuumed SO MUCH DUST! I turned two whistles so far and I am planning on getting a stockpile (and duck calls) so that I have enough come Christmas time! Recently I have become an uncle and that is cutting shop time. However, I have been working pretty seriously on my carvings. I also am learning SOME taxidermy.

Scott,
I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier, but I did very well in OC. I'll have some pictures of my work and ribbons. We had the greatest time and I'm working on my projects for next year now.

I truly hope everyone has been doing well. ~Andre'

My costa's hummingbird. Me, my dad, and brother.Me with my pride and joy. My smoothie blue wing. Interesting project in the works now.  This harlequin is almost done now. I made it for my dad to give on Father's Day. I ran out of time though.

Thanks guys!
Bill- I've been to the ward museum and it is really cool. Actually, if you went right now, my shoveler is being displayed somewhere in there. Each year they display several winners from the world competition.
Marvin- Those words are ones to live up to... Thanks!
