1st acrylic

Been turning wood for along time.....never turned acrylic.....now I got to figure out how to do a tone board with this stuff.

For the first time I would have to say you did pretty awesome  :yes: you'll like acrylic the more you work with it....on the plus side NO FINISH NEEDED  :hysterical:

Ya done good Kitch.
Edit: Do not make a toneboard out of acrylester. I am guessing that is what the barrel is. The cork tab will not hold up. You can sleeve some other material in the acrylester for the the insert.

Very nice!!... I'm right with you on this I just started turning acrylic. Try some of the clear acrylics, after turning acrylester the clear stuff seems so nice to turn. Takes alot longer to polish but turns nicer.

I know that this is a stretch for everybody, but I was thinking of a hedge tone board with an end cap of this stuff. Just a thought.

Looking good, hedge tone board w encapsulated would look pretty good.
You might consider a hedge lip on that keg, just so it'll feel normal to ya!
