Acorn squirrel call
« on: February 27, 2013, 06:38:45 AM »
Had a friend ask me to make a squirrel call to give to his boy as an heirloom type call. He didn't say what he wanted other than he wanted it to function. I had seen this done several times by other talented call makers on here and decided to put my spin on it and make 1 for my friend. Lol funny thing was when he asked could I make 1 I instantly said, "oh sure" like I had made a 100 of them before...hell only reason I had guts was from Turn-a-thon that Al donated. So my first squirrel call was a little "nutty" to say the least... Hopefully those of you who thought up idea or used in past approve of my version of it!

You did a really nice job on that one.  I'm sure your friends son will cherish it.  The only problem is now your friend will probably want one for himself.

:hysterical: :hysterical: when I read that I laughed out loud don't know why I found it so funny must have been the lack of sleep........."A little nutty"  :hysterical:
