Will do, Marvin, but there hasn't been much progress as my workload has kept me out of the shop.  I did more with the guys at the turnathon at Joe's than I've done in months.  I still don't have my little mill trammed to square, but am hoping to get some time this weekend... then my next order of business is to mill an insert jig out of aluminum so that I can start milling my toneboards.  I'll take pics along the way and start a thread as I progress.

My aluminum jig is my primary tool for making inserts Henry. It works great with the milling machine.  The cutters never touch the jig. A couple of layers of tape on the tone board surface lets me set the depth of cut without touching the jig.

Might I ask what machine shop forum you and Marvin like?

Thanks. Little Machine Shop was the only one I was familiar with.

I read several of them, not sure which one I aw Henry post on, but it will be either Home Shop Machinist or Hobby Machinist.
