A Few Grunt Calls...
« on: February 02, 2013, 08:58:59 AM »

I had a little time this week to do some laminating, carving, and painting.

(Above) Here's a carved and painted Cherry grunt call.

(Above)  I landed some Curly Maple this week, so I had to turn a call to see how it looked.  It looks way better than my poor quality photos.

(Above) Here's a laminated Cherry, Maple, and Walnut.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Ron.  I finished the above call last night.  Made the call last week out of some Maple.  Figured I would carve something on it.  This is what I came up with.

Dave, your lamination work is great and the carvings as always are wonderful. I gotta try that one of these days. Brian was doing some at the turn a thon and it got me a bit inspired to give it a try.
