Some new paracord in tan and coyote brown ( a light brown color)  5 x 8 inch mylar sheets,  Neoprene O rings and some pretuned  Molded Toneboards for coyote distress calls.  These sound great and fit a 1/2" bore, come ready to stick in a call and go shoot a coyote with.

Also added some boxes for shipping your calls based on the discussion we had last week.  Take a look and see if they might not be just the ticket for cheap money.

Thanks!

Al @ THO

This is my weekly spam of the board.  I promisse not to do it again until next week.

Al, those chipboard boxes you put up, are they sturdy enough to be a shipping box, or just to package the call and put inside another shipping box?

No, they would not work as a shipping box.  You would need to put them in a bubble envelope or a mailer.

In the future, I will be getting small mailing boxes that you can ship 1st class mail. Postage on them runs about a buck and a half and the boxes will sell for something like 50 cents or so.

You can get the large video mialers from the US Postal Service for free, they will even deliver them to your door.  Then you put them inside a flat rate priority envleope and you can ship them for 4.60 which includes delivery confirmation if you do your postage on line.

Right now I am useing a cardboard box that is 2x2x5. It is very sturdy and works great. I will buy a bit bigger size next time, as anything over about 4 1/2" won't fit. They run about 50 cents each and cost about $1.47-1.64 to mail. The reason I like them is they are so sturdy that I feel pretty confident that they won't allow any damage in the mailing process.

And by the way, great stuff, and I placed an order.

I used to use a box that sounds just like the ones you descrie.  Great for mailing calls.

Now those are the type of boxes I could use.  Looks like I will have to try handful of those.  The fancy ones that cost a dollar or more were just not my thing for my calls.  I also like the new toneboards, they should sell pretty fast.

Good looking new stuff Al.  New order headed your way.

Thanks,
