2 new style calls

Haven't had much time to work on the calls in a while due to work, but found a little time during the holidays to try something I have been thinking about for awhile.  These 2 are very similar to my previous ones but have a little shorter barrel and I chose to try out the no band look.  Internals on the bore are different than my typical tapered bore on the barrel.  I had a few things that the previous design lacked that i wanted to get fixed.  I tinkered around with a dual angle tapered bore on these ones.  Messed up a lot of pieces getting it right but it was well worth it.  Opinions are welcome.

Flawless calls, man those are sweet. If you don't mind me asking how did you get that finish on the black one. I love that look. I always enjoy seeing your calls on here, they are awesome.

Corey, on the black it is all acrylic and I just tape off where the band would be so that stays polished and sand blast the rest of the call.  I then will wipe it down with some novus polish otherwise the black will have a grayish look to it.

They are both sweet, but that dang black call makes me want to reach through the screen and blow that sucker!

I also appreciate you sharing how you did the matte black finish.  I beadblasted a black acrylic call a year or so ago and was really bummed that it looked more gray than black.  I never once though about using plastic polish on it.   :yes:
