Just thought I would share a first time full laminate striker I turned today. Walnut and Cypress.

Very nice, I like the contrast of the woods. Working the soft and hardwoods together like that can be tough. I bet the sound is great. :D

You are sure getting some good use out of that new lathe.  Your strikers are looking good.  Looking forward to seeing some pots. :D

WA, thanks, gonna get on the pots soon. Deer season has me a little occupied for time right now. ;)
