First try.
« on: November 11, 2012, 03:26:32 PM »
Made these a while back. My wife's good friend and her husband and son are big in to elk hunting. So my wife asked me to make them some elk calls. My wife made them some custom blanks with their favorite colors. This was my first attempt at any other calls besides waterfowl.

They went up to camp this last week and I was sent this picture of one of the calls at camp.

Look good.  You make the    the    guts or whatever you call those things.  Never even seen an elk let alone an elk call.
