2012 Goose Flute lineup.
« on: October 21, 2012, 12:36:49 PM »
Howdy again!
I have been working on these basically all summer in my spare time.  My goose flutes for 2012.  I got ahold of some really great wood this past year and it was time to pull a little out and play. :hammer:

Claro walnut burl with big leaf maple burl accents....

Walnut with zebrawood accents....

Myrtlewood with english walnut accents....

Paduke with big leaf maple burl accents....

Myrtlewood with claro walnut accents....

Tiger stripe myrtlewood with big leaf maple burl accents...

Exibition grade big leaf maple burl with myrtlewood accents....

It was fun putting all these wood combinations together and this is my best batch of flutes so far.  Sound wise, they rock!  :punk: :up1:  Blow like a short reed with some wicked low end murmers and moans.

Now these are done, I can get into my competiton calls for St. Charles... :winkiss: :gunsmilie:

All The Best!
Doug

Thanks guys!
The finish is a homemade friction finish.  Pretty tough and I can refinish them in the future in just minutes.
