Lanyards and necklaces
« on: July 23, 2012, 12:23:44 AM »
Just started messing around with some para cord for the first time and I made this lanyard and several duck call necklaces. The calls on these necklaces are 3/4" long. Let me know what you guys think.

Looking good for just getting into making them. My one suggestion would be to get rid of the tails off of each of your loops, you can cut them closer, fray them out, and then take a lighter to melt the paracord, then once it is melted take a knife blade and roll across the freshly melted paracord to smooth it out. Just don't get any melted paracord on your fingers, it leaves a bit of a sting.

I like the mini duck calls, I've been contimplating do the same thing for my necklaces, lanyards, and keychains.
Now you see 'em,
   Now you don't!
