Looks alright to me,When useing I like a heavy end with a blunt tip with the striker length around 8 inches.I'm also going to make a few this coming week.

I think they look a little thick, but if you get a turkey out of them, you're good to go!  I LOVE the design work.   :D

I finally got around to making a few strikers the other day.My son was home resting from an ear infection and I was incharge of catering to him so with my set-up still in the basement I could turn also.The left one is Kingwood,center is Tamboti followed by Tulipwood on the right.I tried them on 3 different pots and the sound is consistent on all 3 getting a positive note.

I like the turnings on the cc. I also think they are a little thick. My personal preference are the more streamlined strikers. But I still think they look good tho.

L>>R If #4 had #3's tip it would be right where I like them. But thats just me.  ;D
