"Ole Oliver"
« on: May 10, 2012, 11:02:14 PM »
Had a buddy request a goose call....I think we'll call it Oliver.   Ron

Of all the things I've lost while call making...its my mind I miss the most.

Oops...just realized I was still in the general area....if one of the mods can move it over for me that would be great.  Sorry

That is frickin cool!!! I love old Olivers! I worked in a pint shop for a couple of years while I was in college, and most of what we painted was old tractors!

 Cool call Bud!!!

It is my dream to one day make a call like that. It looks so professional. Right now I'm in the minor leagues and still turning old wood I have laying around. I'd love to have some of that acrylic and whatever else it is to try and make a call with........and those stickers are sweet   :yes:Where can you get those made at? Thanks.

Thanks everyone...I wasn't so sure about the color combo but he loved it, it was fun to try to come up with something, Hoop I didn't use stickers I drew up a logo in corel draw and laser engraved the design into the call then color filled it The decal lookin paper was a logo I found on-line during the design stage of this call.   Thanks again for the comments.  Ron

That's just too cool. I never get tired of looking at all of the beautiful wood calls, but it's nice to see something that different and neat.

HAHAHA!  Long Branch has ran a '66 Oliver in his tractor pulling since he was 7 years old.  He's in love.  :D

His is purple with silver accents though.
