Has anyone ever used Birch for a box call? I was looking around the shop for wood to try a box call. All I have at this time is birch and walnut. Well I do have some cherry 1x6 but I have spalted birch that I can get dry enough. Some of that is just lightly spalted and solid yet. Will it work?
