Walnut over butternut short box
« on: April 02, 2012, 04:04:47 PM »
Turn a guy loose with just enough knowledge to make him dangerous and this what happens. This is my first box call after the weekend and Prairie Game Calls. I fancied it up a bit with a burned feather on the paddle. Critiques are welcome. Sorry about the crappy pics photobucket isn't saving my edits for some reason.

Of all the things I've lost while call making...its my mind I miss the most.

  very nice looking call.  I am impressed daily by the talent displayed on this forum. Keeps me pretty humble.

Thanks for the comments guys. I am really enjoying making boxes. It is a nice change from turning. I have a couple more in the works so watch for some more pics in the next couple of weeks.
