Have any of you bought any stabilizing chambers yet? if so what size are they? and  have you had any issues that a guy should be aware of?

I got the large one. seems good I just have to get better pump, my antique one wont do the job. The chamber seems very well made. My old pump can only pull 15 on the gage. I was a long wait for it but I think Curtis got a little more than he thought he would here.

I bought a small chamber last year and found a steal on a professional vaccum pump made in USA with parts available new in box for 100 dollars.  The chamber is perfect and curtis will help you if problems arise.  I don't think you can go wrong.

I am looking for a good pot but I don't have hundreds of dollars for one? I looked at a couple but they are only rated for 45-60psi

Are you looking for a pressure pot or a vacuum chamber?  For stabilizing most folks use a vacuum chamber, not a pressure pot, since home stabilizing is typically done with vacuum and not with pressure.

TurnTex sells nice vacuum chambers and they're quite reasonable.

I use an old paint pot that was given to me. Will take about two gallon of solution and leave room for wood to be added. Works for me.
