Cocobolo and maple burl open reeds
« on: October 08, 2008, 10:54:01 PM »

Here's a couple more brass banded open reed calls that I finished recently. I've been out of brass bands since last fall, but I finally had my machinist make me up some more to my dimensions for the Brass Ringer tool.

Maple burl with some dye to highlight the burls

Thanks for looking

Al,

YOUR calls have been the standard for a while now that all others are compared to.  You've set the bar that others are trying to reach.  I just hope some day to get close to the product that you produce.
