I haven't posted any pictures of my calls in a while/haven't been "finishing" many, but here is one I'm making for a friend. I gotta admit it'll be hard to let go.
Can't wait to be able to start producing again.
It is an African black wood insert with holly inlay and cypress barrel that has a woodburned swimming pintail (first time burning on a call).
Very fun call to make and look at. I might make a display for it as well... One more coat of finish, tune, then polish the band and it's done.
Took these pictures way in the woods. Hoping it has a nice affect.
