Good woods to stabilize and dye

What do you guys think are some good woods to get stabilized and or dyed I have some crosscut spalted maple and some maple burl to stabilize but is their any other wood that would look good? Here is a picture of the spalted maple I have around 30 pieces 3" long.

the free er the better, I would th ink anything softer than osage, especially spalted

I have some of the same stuff and it stablizes nice and turns great

If those were 4" blanks I'd be emailing you an offer to buy!!! It would stabilize great and I love the crosscut spalted stuff.
Ash, birch, osage, black palm, walnut, curly maple, anything spalted....
