« on: July 12, 2012, 05:38:58 PM »
What do you guys think are some good woods to get stabilized and or dyed I have some crosscut spalted maple and some maple burl to stabilize but is their any other wood that would look good? Here is a picture of the spalted maple I have around 30 pieces 3" long.

If those were 4" blanks I'd be emailing you an offer to buy!!!  It would stabilize great and I love the crosscut spalted stuff.

Ash, birch, osage, black palm, walnut, curly maple, anything spalted....
