Fly in my wine
« on: October 06, 2008, 05:13:11 PM »

There is a fly in my wine (stopper).  Now how am I supposed to go fishing with it in that plastic junk?

I picked up a couple of fly blanks and had the time to turn one today.  I did a couple of practice blanks first and then went to this one.  Interesting stuff to turn.

Jerry, that thing is just great. Where did you pick up the fly? I'd like to try some of those myself. I got a couple of fishing friends that would love them.

Jerry, that is awesome.

I had a friend of mine tie me some flies one time, but they were not for fishing. He took the curls from a mallard and tied them up pretty cool. He did 3 and put them on a piece of drift wood, adn they looked awesome.

I will try to post some pics next week
