Just bought one.  Haven't used it yet.  If no one else has, I'll have firsthand experience with it this weekend i can provide.  Have some new wood coming from Justin at dbrosswoods, and gotta pick up my drill press from my father's (well, his drill press that i will be acquiring for semi-temporary use until the summer  :whistling:

Personal opinion:  Don't waste your money.  They're great for hogging holes through framing for running wiring, but are not good for finish work at all.  I have one in my electrical tool bag.  A good parabolic flute bit, brad point bit or silver and demming bit are hard to beat for drilling in wood, and this thing is none of those.

Got one, used it once and never again.

Brad tip bits will be your best friend when drilling wood. Nice clean holes all the time and they wont wander like others will.

I bought a set of them and found that the bore was not quite right.  It was larger than expected nd caused issues for me when working on my expanding mandrel.  I still have them but do not like them at all and stopped using them for call making.

UPS dropped off a package at the door the othe day and my wife went to the door and picked it up. I didn't rememer having anything coming in so I asked is hat yours? She looked at me and said in a scarastic tone, "Yes, I never get anything." I just replied, well, that's because you never order on line like I do. I"m always getting little snide commens like What do you need more wood for? She has seen my storage shelf in my shop.

If your wife is tired of you paying for wood, just buy her a chainsaw for her birthday. Now that's love.

Just start ordering it in HER name.  I've done that once, she didn't think it was as funny as I did.
