1st Wire Inlay
« on: December 18, 2011, 08:27:03 PM »
You guys inspired me to learn to do wire inlay...may have a ways to go yet, but I was wonderfully satisfied with the way it turned out.

I did it in an open reed, using one of my machined, clear cast acrylic tone boards, it is double "O" ring fitted.

This one is Ebony, and finished with oil and wax...

Thanks for the information and inspiration...

Joe

This is not his first call, just his first wire inlay.

Beautiful call Joe. I always loved the detail you put into the end of your bells.   The inlay came out very nice.
