Spalted Maple Call
« on: November 11, 2015, 01:59:43 PM »
Had a request from a customer for a spalted maple call with copper band and black walnut insert.  Here's what I came up with.

Many thanks to Ryan at Roosa Game Calls for providing the spalted maple.  Let me just say, there are some mighty good folks on THO!

Very Nice......love that shape as well.
Of all the things I've lost while call making...its my mind I miss the most.

Thanks!  I've kind of settled into this shape.  For now at least.  It's amazing how shape preferences change over time.  Early on, I found a shape that I loved.  But it's kind of morphed into this shape which is a little more streamlined, I guess.

Thank you, sirs.

Brandon... That's a teak oil finish.  It's become my favorite finish.
