I have turning some pens lately and these are a few of the more recent ones

Very nice. Fun, isn't it?  I really like turning pens and hey are so nice to have on hand to give as gifts or for special thanks.

Braz, They are a lot of fun to turn. It is a nice break from turning calls.

Hammer, The stand is hand made. I wanted something simple to display a desk set and that is what I came up with.

The only thing I don't like about the antler pens is the little bit of nasty smell when I sand the ends down before I hit it with the barrel trimmer. Other than that it really doesn't smell to turn it.

The stand is simple yet people are gonna be excited to see it. I think you might end up making a few more of those. Nicely done & I really do like it.  :up1:
