Bacon-Wrapped Pheasant

First off, thanks for starting up this new section! Here's my newest favorite recipe for pheasant breasts:
1 - Whole pheasant breast, cut off the bone
1 - pound of bacon
Mozerella Cheese
Sun-Dried Tomatoes
2 - shots bourbon or whiskey

After removing the breasts from the bone, cut slits in them. Push sun-dried tomtatoes into these slits and smother in mozerella cheese. Wrap in bacon and pin the bacon with toothpicks.  Cook in skillet until the bacon starts to cook.  Pre-heat oven to 350*. Next, put pheasant in buttered baking pan and splash a shot of whiskey or bourbon onto each breast.  Bake for about 15 mintues, flipping breasts half-way through cooking. When bacon is fully cooked, enjoy!

*Can be served with your choice of sides.  My favorite is asparagus - steamed, boiled or grilled.

I think you got the ingredients a little wrong you need 4 shots of bourbon. 2 for the birds and 2 for the cook!  :eek:

Does sound good, just not many pheasants down here   :no:  Guess I'll have to try it on the doves or maybe early teal.  Thanks for sharing
