striped ebony
« on: October 30, 2011, 03:24:37 PM »
Here's a call that I did for Nathan Shaw of Ozark Mountain Lanyards, in trade for a very nice custom lanyard that I'm very excited to receive later this week.  His call is a striped ebony single reed with one of Ron's bands and a CA finish.  I had my engraver put his name on the call as well as mine and my web site address.  The call is totally black on one side and the stripes show on the other.  I kind of like the all black look, maybe because it looks more like acrylic than wood on that side.  This striped ebony tends to behave a little better than gabon ebony though....No cracks out of any of it that I've used so far.

Of all the things I've lost while call making...its my mind I miss the most.

Now that is SWEET :punk: I really love how you personalized it. Where the heck do you find that pour-able glass these days  :hysterical:  That toneboard really looks like acrylic for some reason... You really knocked this one out of the park. So clean  ~Andre            P.S. That better be an awesome lanyard :pot:
