Al's Owl Part
« on: October 20, 2011, 10:29:17 PM »
Hello everyone,

I purchased a couple owl parts from Al and when i got the, i am not sure what everything does.

Does anyone know what each piece is for  There looks to be a small round piece with a small hole in it that i can't figure what it is.

Any help would be appreciated

Jason

The small 1/2" rubber bushing with a hole in it is used to go in the exhaust end of the call.  It gives you the back air pressure to make the call work.  The plastic sound board goes together just like a mallard call.  Hope this helps.

Probably the most in depth conversation we have had on here about owl calls of this type:

Thanks guys.  When i perfect the JTC Owl Call, i will post how i got it to work.  One of my friends happens to be a pro turkey caller and he is dead on with an owl call so i hopefully can get him to help me figure out the perfect combination.

I will keep everyone informed.
