Anyone make custom grips? I am checking for a friend looking for a custom set with some nice checkering work.

No fancy checkering yet.  They aren't to hard to make.  The tricky spot is getting the holes lined up perfectly.
These are for a friends kimber pro carryII.  He didn't leave the gun with me so I'm waiting on him so I can do final fitting.  I want to make sure the ambidextrious safety is going to clear correctly.  They are moradillo?  I think.  A very oily wood I picked up at the kc turnathon last year.

Nice grips. We've got his wood type in mind too. I can supply the wood if someone wants the work and does the grips. Just give me a shout.
