How to find Tutorials......

(1/1)

VECtor Calls:
If you only follow the day to day postings, you have possibly missed out on some great information that will bring the progress of your call making up by leaps and bounds.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST taking a look at all of the tutorial sections here on THO.  There are a couple different ways to get to different bits of information, so let me explain each of them.

First, for the old, steadfast information that the THO website was built on.......head to the homepage of THO, and look for the Call Making Tutorials link at the top center of the page.  Here's the link to the homepage:  http://www.thogamecalls.com/  You will also find links for other THO features on the homepage.

Now, if you are looking for further information, go to the main forum home page here: http://thogamecallsforums.com/index.php  and then head down to the types of calls you are interested in learning more about in the how-to aspect of them.  The black section bar you will want to look for is "The Art of Handcrafting Custom Game Calls".  Under that header, you will find sections that will start out with "Handcrafting Custom......." followed by duck, goose, turkey, deer, etc.  Click on one of those sections that you're interested in, and at the very top of that section, you will find a 'child's board' that will be named "...X...Making Tutorials".  Click on the link to that board, and you will find many of the tutorials that have taken place inside the walls here of the THO forum, and you will find links back to the tutorials that I talked about getting to from the THO Homepage.

I hope most folks already knew how to access these tutorials, but if not, here is your tutorial on finding tutorials.   :gitrdone:

ALSO......if somewhere along the line, you run into a tutorial-type thread that you feel has helped you out with your call making, please contact a moderator or admin about having that thread moved into these tutorial sections.  They are a great resource to look back on, that is for sure!

Here is a list of the tutorial links here on the forum:

Duck and Goose Calls: http://thogamecallsforums.com/index.php/board,109.0.html

Turkey Calls: http://thogamecallsforums.com/index.php/board,110.0.html

Other Turnings:  http://thogamecallsforums.com/index.php/board,115.0.html

PLEASE feel free to start additional tutorials if you are interested in sharing with everyone.  There is no doubt we can make great things with all of our heads combined.

:up1:  Got it moved.  I agree.  I thought about that when I made this post.  I didn't have time to look for it then though.  Thanks for the link!

There is now a Custom Call Making Resource Area!

A GREAT place to begin your reading on the site to take a long look at member's tips and tricks they have shown over the years.
