I'm torn with this one......I like the shape and finish on the call.  I like both pieces, just not sure if I like the two together.......It's not bad, don't get me wrong...It's still a killer looking call.

I don't know how I missed this post, but just now found it, Aaron I would leave it just as it is. I think the stopper matches perfectly with the color of the knot in the barrel. I'm loving it.

Honestly Mr. Woodeater its two close of a clash for me.  More contrast wood look better.  I'd stick a piece of blackwood or ebony in it.  I always choose a strong contrast when I can't decide like this one.

No problem Joe, that's definitely why I asked for feedback.  I look at it just about every time I'm in the shop and I like it, but there's a tinge of doubt too.  I think it'll get to try on a lot of inserts before I'm totally convinced either way!

I like the barrel and the insert...just not together.  Solid black for a match to either one would be great IMHO.  You do such great work it is hard to criticise.  I just think that you have two halves of two great calls!!!
