How well do hand-made pens sell? Also, how much?
« on: June 07, 2011, 05:22:31 PM »
Hello,
Im am starting to include pens into my wood crafting and I am curious as to how well they sell and how much they sell for to figure out how profitable pen-making is. Any suggestions, comments, or whatever helps.

Thanks,
Kris

I think the market dictates prices. Your history, quality, availability,

Pens are in a world of their own, they sell from $20 to over a $1000.  The basic Slimlines at the bottom and completely custom with no kit involved at the top.  Is there a market?  Yes, but you will find that in some areas it is saturated, in others it is wide open.  There are several forums for penturners for more info.
