Duck call boxes
« on: June 03, 2011, 01:29:17 PM »
I'm looking for some pretty nice cardboard boxes for duck and goose calls or cheap wooden ones. Does anyone have or know of any places that sell them? I just want something for my standard packaging and make it a little nicer than just  a cloth bag. Thanks Andre

Check with Rivermallard in the sellers section.  He has some real nice ones.

I would need to get measurements.  But I can diecut these in the photo.  I have 2 or 3 different sizes.  Of the top of my head i believe the are 3 x 9 x 2.5" high.

If there is a big enough demand I could cut some out and ship flat.  You would need to fold on the score lines and use double stick tape.  Or I could glue up myself but shipping would be more and my time.

I will get more info on Monday and come up with pricing both ways.  Standard white paper.  Then just print and stick on a label.

Yeah that looks nice. Those dimensions seem a little big for duck and goose calls though. Something like 2"-2 1/2" x 6"-7" x 2" high sounds a little more like it. If it isn't hard I would fold them myself. I'd want something like 25-50 of them. How much would that be? Also do you make the sticker designs as well? Thanks Andre

Well the small is 2.25" wide x 8" long x 1.5" high.   I am working on pricing for white boxes.  I can assemble and fit about 28 in a carton.

Let me know if you think this size will work, it might to small for height?
Yeah that is a little off size for me... it will be fine though if the price is right. How much would it be for the 28? Thanks for the help, Andre

I was calculating prices and comparing to uline.  You are better of going uline if you can find a box the carry in stock.  They are at around .50 for jewelry boxes there and I am close to 1.50 cut and glued/folded on such a small run.  Plus shipping.

I guess I just don't realize how good I have it. You tend to forget the cost of perks once in a while

Thanks for the help... Well I guess I'm gonna go with Rivermallard... Thanks, Andre :gitrdone:  :duck:

I use plastic golf ball tubes from Visipak. They work great, perfect size and are relatively cheap. You have to order about 100 at a time but at .65/tube or so it is a good deal. You can add your own label.

Those are really sweet. What is the size and how much do they cost?
