Title: Shipping this one tomorrow
Post by: blacky on February 10, 2008, 01:28:57 PM
I turned this bubinga call with a matching striker plus an osage orange striker for a customer in Arkansas. I hope you like it. It is a glass over glass.

I love it.   The pictures under the glass are a great touch.  Very well done.  That ossage striker sure lends some contrast to it too!

(here's a secret - watch for our custom etched glass sound boards this fall)

Hey, nice call blacky. How about a picture of the back of it. And just what is the red?

The red under the glass is a picture of bubinga and it is not as red in the call as it looks scanned.

This is one of my "Heirloom" galss over glass calls.......most of my customers get a photograph opf a grandchild or other hunting photograph.....it is a real treat to see a customer's face when they see the call.....this one is Coco and Hickory

Nice touch with the sound holes on the back. Or are they sound holes? Do they go all the way through? If not that is why I was wondering about the red, because I didn't see any holes, so didn't figure it was the inside of the call.
