Bagged my first Osceola this morning. I was lucky enough to have a friend with access to unhunted private land and invited myself and my dad to come down. It has definitely been a great experience. Pictured below is a dogwood slate over slate w/ cherry striker of my making and a wormy american chestnut scratch box my friend makes. He used both in calling in that bird for me. Thanks for looking!

Congratulations! Great looking callers also.

Great memories, especially sharing it with your Dad and friend.
Nice calls. Get your friend to share the "how to make" the scratch box. I am sure a lot of the guys would be interested. I am.

I'm in the same boat! He has no interest sharing the plans but he told me today he's probably about done making calls. I might be able to work them out of him then. They are fantastic calls and very unique!

Both the bird and the calls are very nice!
