Looks really good. I see you got some on your hand. If you ever get your fingers stuck acetone will release them.

Good work Michael!  Looks alot better than mine have been turning out!  How many coats did you apply?  When you applied them, did you continue rubbing with the towel?

I saw a YouTube video where the guy kept rubbing and it got dull, and then shined up again after 30 seconds or so.  I haven't had any luck doing this.  I get the most shine when I wipe it on once and cover the call, and then just stop.  I also soak in Teak Oil first, but I can't imagine that would mess with the CA.  I usually let it dry for a couple days before doing CA; maybe it's still wet?

Any insight from you or anyone else would be helpful!  Looks awesome for a first run!

i tired a CA finish, came out ok on birds eye maple, but horrible on cocobolo...  not sure if i used right kind of glue.. i bought Gorilla super glue, the one with brush or drop applicator.  seems like it turned white on the cocobolo.

I've heard bad things about that Gorilla Glue stuff..  I can't remember the name of the stuff I use off hand, but it's just thin CA from a woodworking website.  I'll try to look when I get home tonight and get back to you.  I also started using BLO to help the CA set faster and it gives it a nice shine.
