I have been playing with some alumilite black and having decent results but my question is does the alumilite clear shrink bad? Curious input appreciated..
-
There is some percentage rate that it is known to shrink.

Yeah i have seen the data. I have read that the clear doesnt shrink just curious to see what some others have experienced with it ,guess theres one way to find out just gonna buy the small pack of clear and see.lol. They state the clear is .005 wich is pretty tight...

Are you pouring blanks or pouring in a mold? Clear is the way to go and I just found out that the B side will gel up but supposedly can run in under hot water to thin
-
Brian I am pouring in a mold... I will say one thing about the black that stuff is fun to turn I have never seen a peice cut like that black will on the lathe I made a owl hooter out of it. But yes i am wanting to pour in a mold..

You also want to consider the Shore Hardness value of the resin you use.
