Here's a Cherry crow call I finished up yesterday. Carved and painted a "Sentry" crow on this one. That's the crow that is always first to arrive and check things out..Even though you are not supposed to shoot him. But let him go to fetch his buddies...Sometimes he does not make it back... ::)

I have question for you. In the banded area of the barrel how do you get that rough looking scribe onto the call? Is there a tool that does that do you do it by hand?
Anyone ?

The band is stippled using an air powered engraver and a small carbide ball bit. Just basically making a bunch of randomly spaced "dots".
