That's a real good looker Robert.

This one is my most recent and I really hated that it was sold before I made it.  It was hard to give this one to the customer, and I think it is my best duck call to date.  I gave it to him at the Pheasants Forever banquet last night and a lot of guys really ooohed and aaahed over it, which made me feel good.

One of my favorite ones is a fully checkered blackwood call with a musk ox band.  The call on the left.

You won't get money rich in this hobby.  The richness is in the culture, the craft, the friends you meet along the way, and being able to call in a wary game animal with a call that you made with your own hands.

  Probably this one.  It is a mirror with a turkey etched into the backside of it that I did with a dremel tool.

If the mirror is reflecting a light surface, the turkey looks black.  If it is reflecting a dark surface (like here) it looks white.

This was my first call donated to helping disabled hunters that brought over $200.

The pot is dyed neon green spalted hackberry.

Not my traditional shape, but I had to make due with what I had. Blocks come back to small. Double dyed boxelder burl.

This is one of my favorite pictures too.  Looks like there were 57 of them there.  I don't think I've ever made that many in a year since.

Nice thread. There are some great pics here already.
My favorite is one I made for my Dad for Christmas. It is not only the best looking call Ive made but its the best sounding call also. I put in a lot of time in this call and it has a personalized message written inside on the aluminum inserts that you can read through the transparent acrylic. It is so good that he let me use it for the remainder of the duck season and I havent given it back yet.   Guess I should polish it back up and let him have it back now.

I made this one for a friend of my dad's who invited me on a dove hunt a few years ago....it's not my favorite, but it's one of the best sounding pot calls I've made.

This call is my favorite....it's always within reach.
