PVC Goose Call
« on: January 17, 2011, 10:45:24 PM »
Ok, here it is: a PVC goose call you can make for $7 or less, 5 minutes of your time, friction fit or glue it, paint it or not, add lanyard grooves if you want or not, add a pitch hole if you want or not, etc. etc. etc.

The perfect call for you to give to a youngster. Very easy to blow, sounds decent, and you can even make it into a flute by adding length to the exhaust. Or even use the same style of guts for a grunt call, coyote howler, duck call and so on.

I will post the threaded version as soon as I get the parts tomorrow.

Materials needed:

A short piece of 1/2" PVC about 1" in length
Two 3/4" x 1/2" bushings
One 3/4" high pressure coupling (it is about 3" in length"
One 3/4" standard coupling (about 2" in length)

Assemble as shown in the following photos -
