I know there will be a lot of folks that won't be able to participate in this, but we will give it a try anyways, and see what comes of it.
Medium flat rate box sounds good to me! Fill it up with usable wood, not just small scraps. (Though some figured small scraps should be welcomed to fill up corners of the box and such).
Either of these two boxes will be acceptable for mailing size. You see here it will cost you $10.70 to mail this way. The boxes will say "Medium Flat Rate Box" on the side of them.
Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box (FRB1) $10.70 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box (FRB2) $10.70 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8"Who ever I get, I plan on getting with them to ask what sizes of wood would best suit them, and I will go from there filling the box. If you have that option, I would ask you to do that same.
I AM NOT asking folks to give away their secret stash of wood, but I also ask that you don't fill up a box full of straight grain oak or walnut. Make the box exciting to open.
Again......I know a lot of folks won't be able to play in this. Maybe in the future we can do a single stick trade?
*If I get you, I have a few turkey call pot blanks that are better than straight grain wood, but not many. If you are in to turning 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" calls......I could end up being your best friend.

I don't have the ability to square up the wood, but I've got some NICE stuff on the top shelf.
*You will be getting wood to the person on the list one above you. For example with who has signed up so far......jcz will send wood to me. Braz will send wood to jcz, etc..... I will send wood to the last person that signs up. The cutoff date for signing up will be the end of the day on February 9th (changed from the 14th due to lack of more folks signing up). I don't think we need to wait any longer than that. Parker
