We have lots of hornbeam on our property, (not sure if it is European variety,) but it turns nicely and is very tough wood and durable wood. We always used it for making handles for chisels and it worked great for that. Very fine grained wood. I'll have to cut some and get it drying I guess,lol.

I called today. The lady on the phone was a sweetheart. She re-took my order & was going to look for it in their e-mails & is going to bring it to her Husbands attention as soon as he gets home from work today. As I gave her the order sha said it didn't sound familiar to her at all. Maybe I ordered at a bad time with the Holidays or it went to their spam box. I don't know but everything seems to be rolling now tho.  :2up:

Interesting, it took them three weeks to ship your order and here it is two weeks after shipping and you still haven't received. Sure doesn't speak well for them at all. I think I would be very wary of ever ordering from them.

The owner has been sick.  Just no way around it.  He's out of the business until further notice.  I hate this.  I've checked back in several times, and the news on the site just gets worse every time.
