Buffing

I was reading posts the other day, couldn't find the particular one to point it out, but Al and Hawk were talking about buffing the finish on their calls with the beall system or other knock offs.  ;D You guys have been cheating!!!  ;D I went to Woodcraft today and bought one!! Man what a difference!  :o I love it! went through some barrels that I haven't made soundboard for yet, ran'em through. Now I'm cheatin too!! I really want to thank you more experienced folks for shareing the info, it shortens the learning curve for the rest of us.

Right now I just have a cheap lathe with a #1 MT. I hate to stick too much money in any accessories
for it because I know I need to upgrade to a better lathe before too long. Pretty much all the buffing
systems that I've seen are for the #2 MT. Has anybody seen one for a #1 MT, or have any ideas to
make one like the Beale buffing system that'd work on it? Thanks, Scott
