Larry, I think this is a good enough thread to make a sticky. Thanks for getting it started.

I see Clear Creek Lumber  :down1: listed amoung the list.We have had in the past 2 threads posted in the past on them selling green wood and also not sending out items paid for.I myself lost a few bucks to them and won on a Paypal dispute but I've received no payment from the dispute results.

I am new to the site and to call making.  I have been turning pens though for about 15 years.  I was looking for some kingwood to do my first duck call and came across this site.  Wood looks pretty good.  Mostly exotics, but very good prices.  Has anyone ordered from them before?

Hope to put pics up here soon.

Wrangler2, I have never used the place so can't comment on it. I would, however, like to extend a welcome. Hop over to the "Introduce Yourself" forum and make a post there. We would love to learn more about you where you live, kind of call you make, how long you been doing it, etc. Again, welcome.

Received my wood from Griffin Woods.  It is awesome!  I also needed some flat lumber for pot calls and was outbid d/t pc locking up so I emailed the seller and he agreed to sell me some spalted pecan and honey locust.  When I received it it was 1 1/8 X 14 X 48 and absolutely perfect.  They were great to work with and sent me pics of the actual boards they were sending.  They are from Missouri  Ben and Mary Ellen go by Cradlewood on ebay and their email is cradlewood@att.net .  I got permission from them to put it on here.  If you want reasonably priced spalted lumber these are your guys.  The do reclamation timbering.

If you'd like, add Cue Components to the list.  Their prices are a little higher but their wood quality is awesome.  They had some Costa Rican Cocobolo that blew my mind away.

Here is another awesome dealer that specializes in Cedar, Walnut, Wild Black Cherry, and Sassafras.  Great prices, and shipping won't kill you.  He has 2 websites one for flute blanks and one for cedar flooring and lumber.  I have ordered from them twice and received great wood and fast shipping.  Located in Donathan, Missouri.

Here is a site I use for stabilized wood blanks.  If you look under the handle portion you will find blanks large enough for calls.  Great people.
