I have two for you

Any good muzzleloading place will have horns for powder horns, and usually folks want the white ones for scrimshaw so you can get the multi colored ones pretty cheap.

Hope that helps.

Al, I live about twenty miles from Elk River and never knew this shop existed.  Some day I might have to drive up there with the kid and see what they got.  It sure would be fun to take a turkey with an old style gun like that.  I'm not sure about carrying it for Pheasants or grouse though. I usually use both barrels and still miss.

I'm glad I don't live 20 miles away. I'd be spending way too much money there.  ;D They have a catalog that you have to purchase, and the catalog is worth every penny they ask for it. It is just full of wonderful stuff and great pictues. I spent hours looking at it when I first got it. Mine is now about 5 years old and I need to get a new one.

Another place to watch is Moscow Hide and Fur. I have bought there before and the product is good. They are limited in supply right now however. http://www.hideandfur.com/

I actually had a woman email me from South Africa that said she has about 300 horns that is looking for a market for. I am finding out how much she wants for them, and maybe if they are cheap enough, I can share the deal.

Dirty Dog, just be carefull.  If it sound like too good of a deal, it just might be. We ran into two scammers with our dogs.  One wanted me to ship  a pup to England. He was going to send a M.O. from his bank, I was to cash it, and forward the extra to his shipper.  Turned that M.O. into the feds and they said that was smart cause it was a fake and i would have had to cover the bad funds.  The other guy wanted me to ship 3 pups to some small island in the Pacific. Turned that one over right away.  If you feel its legit go for it but be carefull.
