I just got finished posting up a picture of what my calls looked like two years ago.  I though it would be fun to see pictures of peoples first call and pictures of there most recent pictures.  This would be a good way to see what everyone has learned from the site.

One of my first:  Cocobolo, friction polish, too darn thick and hollow sounding.  A waste of a really nice piece of cocobolo!

A recent one:  Osage, a finish that is far better than friction polish, sounds awesome.

You gotta be thinking of someone else because i don't really make duck calls. I stick a few echo inserts in some barrels once in awhile, but that't aout the extent of my duck/goose call making.

This should be a fun thread to be honest...still have the first call I ever made...popluar and it really doesnt quack.  Its a sound though and thats where it all started, the question WHY
