Man I gave it a shot last night and couldn't get a peep out of it. Seems the reed is so short i can't produce enough air to lift it. What thickness of reed do you suggest?

I just use a duck reed I'm thinking it's 10mil. If your not get a sound then file a little more in the front of the reed and make sure you bend the reed up slightly and the tip of the reed is bent up to almost a 90degree. Worse case we do a call trade and you can see how I did mine!
